If this face-up card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead.

Is it worth the ED slot though?

Equip with Twin Swords. Better than Snatch Steal.

Bahamut Shark makes this easy.

Not sure... that remains the question. Probably not in the Synchro build, but the pure Xyz one could give it a shot.

I saw a guy using this card in Baby Raccoons once. It actually won him the Match.

it does help synchro infernities by freeing up a space. most of the combos could go a lot farther if they had a extra space. right now only like 25% of the combos searches you 4 traps, the rest searches 2 and leaves you sorta vulnerable. with this they all become good and game winning. and the chance of opening with a combo is around 40%. synchro infernities is all about doing a big combo.

outside of that its effect is kinda useful for being able to get past something and make direct attacks. some ocg infernities used it for that reason i think. and maybe they have space issues too. idk.
