Easta Pink!

New batch of FL lists means the new thread is ready to cause more controversy (tho srsly, keep the salt to a dull roar and the flaming to a level 5 Torchic's Ember). I've UPDATED the list and change-log quite dramatically.

Balance philosophy:
A. Hit tier 1 decks that compete at a consistent speed that is undeniably faster and easier than the decks in the tier below it
B. Hit cards that create tier 1 conditions consistently
C. "Compromise hit" to unrestrict certain other cards
Any card that was brought to 1, 2, or 3 was done to/because:

D. Make an archetype more viable
E. It poses no immediate threat
F. It can help balance the current metagame

*indicates that the card has an impending errata

Change Log:

Nekroz: Nekroz have had Brionac and Unicore put to 1, their main consistency cards. Given that Preparation of Rites, Manju, and all of their other support has been left alone, the deck will still be able to compete, but will have their tier 0 spot hindered by the limitation of two auto 3-ofs.

Heroes: Heroes are, under this list, fair. They’ve lost out on Soul Charge, A Hero Lives, and Dark Law, but gained heavily in 3 Summoner Monk and Stratos. The biggest problem with Heroes in the OCG is turn 1 Dark Law. This is still playable, in fact, perhaps easier, but you only get the 1 Dark Law to fall on.

Qliphorts: Scout has been put to 1 as it is the only necessary hit. With this in mind, Summoner’s Art should fall in usage, or, at least, be used less so. Scout to 1 is rather large, but Skill Drain is left in-tact, as is Saqlifice. Deck will be fine.

Shaddolls: Shaddolls have received some hits, hopefully enough to balance them out more than the OCG’s hits, which don’t seem to be too effective. Sinister Shadow Games, Winda, Construct, Super Poly, Noden, and Soul Charge are at 1. Avarice was returned to 1, which they’ll appreciate, but all these hits will be felt.

Satellarknights: Satellarknights have had consistency hits – Deneb and Seraph to 1. Nothing major, especially given that the deck has the TCG’s triple RotA and double Honest.

Burning Abyss: Cir and Graff have both been put to 1. This will help SLOW the engine that is broken by cards like PWWB, KC, and Fire Lake.

HAT: Sanctum has been put to 1. All this will mean for the deck is a heavier reliance on cards like Artifact Ignition and Double Cyclone; the strategy remains in-tact, and they’ll appreciate the 2nd Bottomless Trap Hole.

Geargia: Gear has risen to 2 and Birdman has been put to 3. While I don’t feel convinced that Geargia are ready for their 3rd Gear just yet, they should be quite balanced here, being able to play Puregia, KKGG, and Machina Geargia.

Mermail: Mermail has shifted dramatically. Abyssteus is at 1, a big nerf to the deck. However, Avarice is at 1, Diva’s at 3, Trishula has returned, and Dragoons have risen to 2. The deck is definitely still good, but has been sensibly handled.

Dragon Ruler: Dragon Rulers have received mainly buffs, but some nerfs, too. The Baby Rulers, Gold Sarc, Debris, Card Trooper, and Burial ftDD are at 3. Super Rejuv, Ravine and Return ftDD are at 1. To accommodate all of these buffs, however, Dragon Shrine had to match Ravine at 1.

Infernity: Infernity has reverted back to the deck it should’ve been – 3 Archfiend, 3 Barrier, 1 Soul Charge.

Fire Fist/King/Laval: Fire decks are back to play. Rekindling to 3 gives all Fire decks an option. Spirit is at 2 to test 3.5-axis’ power.

Spellbook: Spellbooks finally return to their pre-Judgment self with 3 Fate.

Inzektor: Inzektors have been made more consistent with a fair raise in 2 Hornet and 2 Dragonfly.

Wind-Up: Wind-Ups are finally a deck. Matching the OCG status of 1 Zenmaity, 1 Shock, 3 Shark, and 3 Magician, they are, at last, playable.

Dino Rabbit: Dino Rabbit, or better yet Macro Rabbit, is at full power. By now, the game has changed from the days of its reign, and I’m confident it would not be a tier 0 contender yet again. After all, the deck still has to run Vanillas, and it’ll have to deal not just with the advent of popular traps from Breakthrough Skill to Fiendish Chain to Vanity’s Emptiness, but the throngs of archetypes that have come out since that have, in the OCG (where Rabbit’s remained at 2), kept it down.

Chaos Dragons/Agents: Buffs here. Gorz and Trag are at 3. CDs will appreciate a 2nd Charge.

Sylvans/Plants: Plants are ready to return. Debris, Lonefire, and Bulb are all at 3 while Dandy is being tested at 2. Regular Plant decks, of course, can do nothing but benefit from the access to triple One for One.

Gladiator Beasts: Not much to say, Bestiari is at 3. Full-powered Glads? Let’s hope so!

Six Samurai: Shi En and Trishula to 3. The deck is as complete as it can be.
